been listening to some old music while i read

i hate my scanner, it doesn't pick up the light blue or greys... anyway, just a little draw after reading a couple chapters of "a clockwork orange" while listening to alice cooper...

everyone's sick...

for the past few days everyone (slight exaggeration) around me has been sick... i haven't caught anything... yet

doodle to kill time

sittin' around killin' a little time this afternoon. we've had company lately... just found out my glasses are ready for pick-up. guess i should jump in the toaster and head north through the rain to get my new specs.

for those of you that know(?) me, by now you've figured out i like adding red. in between reading and getting stuff done around the house, i picked up my latest moleskine and had to doodle a little more on one of the prior pages. i have some new sketch ideas but haven't been able to bring them to life yet.

not sure...

sometimes i wonder if she has a voodoo doll of me. who she is i don't know, but something has to be the cause of all the pain i've been in lately.

the wind reminded me that it is still winter...

while drawing this a song came on the radio and reminded me that some bands sound pathetic live... then again i can't carry a tune.

out of practice

maybe it's the headache, maybe it's the hunger pains, maybe it's the lack of practice, maybe it's my failing eyesight, maybe i just can't draw... time to start drawing more. life has been busy or the past few months. art seems to relieve the stress that life throws at me, i should set-up my studio space again...

let's see if i can continue drawing...

may go back and do some more crosshatching to this one to darken it up a bit. going to try and draw a few times a week, we'll see...

been reading...

quick doodle of what i've been doing lately. my pens have been idle, but i've been reading a pile of books... i've come up with a ton of ideas, but alas none have come forward and made it to the page or to clay... time to get back to reading. see ya later!
