Watched my son's soccer team win this morning, did a little yard work, then broke out the pens... Tomorrow another Monday...

Long but fun day at work. Now I'm home, figured I'd finish this drawing I started last night. A dozen more drawings (or more) and this book will be ready for the mail.

It has been a long day and I have a killer headache... Did another page, not too happy with it but it is done. I added a few more pages to this thing, hence the yellow color. The middle page will be a fold out accordion style.

I tore up more of the back yard and ripped out shrubs... The boss wants more garden space and also an area of blackberries. My reply, yes Ma'am... We also got a new puppy last night, so I'm puppy sitting right now. Our older pup and it are getting along swell. Do to changes I couldn't hang out with some friends last night like I had intended on. More rambling... I'm not overly thrilled with the paper in this sketchbook, had to trash two pages after a test. Now there will only be 13 spreads and the two covers (front and back). Makes for less work though.

Took a few days off from drawing/pretty much any thing with the exception of work. Now that the weekend is here, I'll be jobbing it in the yard. Catch ya later and everyone enjoy the 4th!

Another page in the book... Went to the KISS concert Friday night. Had a great time. Enjoyed watching the people too, lots of 'em dressed up or had on the makeup... I didn't. Met some nice people before and after the show. All in all a great evening. Now I need to get back to yard work.

The paper is still very thin in the sketchbook they chose for the sketchbook project, but I didn't have to double up the page thickness.

Finished another page tonight. Not going to rush this little book, not too many pages. Need to put some thought into what I'll add...

Hard to believe this is the 600th post. Thanks for all the viewers and followers, sorry I've been a little slow to post lately. This is the first page in the sketchbook for the newest Art House Co-op Sketchbook Project. The theme I chose was "This is a sketchbook". There aren't many pages in this thing, Not sure if I like the paper, but hey its just a sketchbook...
