ugh, where did the grey go?

what's up with my scanner? i lost most of the grey in this one too... any way, i got back from seattle last night. this morning i got a call from my daughter, someone broke into her apartment and stole her purse and laptop. her purse had several hundred dollars and a couple checks to deposit to the bank, her camera, and ipod. she was in the apartment at the time. thank God, she wasn't hurt or anything. i told her the material stuff will eventually be replaced and the checks and debit card are an easy fix (done). i wish we were closer to where she's at. i pray everything gets better for her.

went simple

did a simple drawing this morning. i'll be driving to seattle this afternoon, to take my daughter back to school. hope i see a bunch of cool stuff to take pictures of while i'm there.

this didn't scan right...

for some reason the scanner didn't pick-up all the different tones and colors. oh well, another page done. time for bed...

only half?

while i was drawing this, my son asked why i was drawing only half of the face? good question, i tried to explain, but he didn't get it.

today was an alright day, i trimmed a lot of trees and shrubs. in the process i nearly cut off the tip of my left thumb... ouch!

it is getting late. after scanning this i determined that i was in a hurry, and need to go back and touch up some areas... i'm off til monday, yippee!

is it tuesday?

Trying to get back to day shift, after one night shift to start the week... It is nice outside, think I'll take a walk or a bike ride.

2 AM

drawing till 2 AM... working the night shift tomorrow, figure i'd stay up late tonight so i can make it through the shift. when i finished this the light blew out over head, and right prior my itunes went silent. guess i better call it a night.

this

started this last night, finished this morning, posted...now. today is another nice day, cloudy but nice. kristine comes home today for spring break, may have to take off a couple days and travel.

started the day by drawing... me. going on a bike ride, maybe i'll see something more interesting to draw. i need to get out and enjoy this beautiful day!

seen at the park

saw this guy at the park. i was taking my friday walk through the city, when i saw him slowly plodding along. he plopped down and watched the geese and ducks along the river... so did i.
