Waiting for another sketchbook from the guys at Art House in Atlanta. These were in the sketchbook project: Fear, last October. The new project will be "How to save the world". Give me some ideas and maybe I'll come up with a sketch. I have a bunch planned out already but could always use some new angles.

Another work week over... another class taught. The weather was great today, hopefully it just keeps getting better. I was informed today, that all the stuff has to come out of the gallery by midday on the 18th. So next Friday I'll be busy hauling off what didn't sell. This weekend I'm going to start on some new work...

Dudes and Dudettes,

Sold another piece at the gallery. The third most expensive one sold today. With any luck a couple more might be sold prior to next Friday. I really wish the stuff could stay up on the wall for the whole month, but that's the breaks...

The days are getting longer and temperatures are finally starting to warm-up. Haven't made any new sculptures or drawings lately. Taxes are done but not sent in. Life is moving at a snail's pace. I head to Miami next month for about a week... by then, things should start moving quicker...

Tuesday, felt like two days... Work is still a drag, need some new excitement. Got a message from some lady who said she is a writer. She wants to ask me questions about art and the process I use. Later tonight or tomorrow I'll give her a call. Right now I'm exhausted and feel like taking a short nap.

Little Boy

I don't like Mondays... Work lasted entirely too long today. I really should be working on some new sculptures and drawings. To get inspired I am going for a walk in the woods, maybe I'll see something to get me out of this rut.

Listening to the new REM CD and going through older sketchbooks. Realized I never shot any photos of a lot of drawings I liked. There were more that made me wonder what I was thinking. I'll keep posting stuff, maybe somebody will see it and make a comment, until I run out of new and old "art". Today my family returns from Seattle, so I better clean-up around here...

Made it through the day and now into the night. Over 300 people attended the opening tonight. I guess that's not bad. According to the gallery that was above average. It rained throughout the evening, but there was a constant flow of people. I made a lot of contacts. One piece sold right away and another person said they were coming back tomorrow to buy a piece (I'll believe it when it happens). There were a few more that said they wanted to buy, and asked how long the show would be up. It is supposed to run through the end of month, but since the building is being remodeled, the show will come down on the 18th. Only two weeks... I had a lot of people hanging around my work and wanting to talk about it. Hopefully the interest sparks more sales... The night is over and I'm at home drinking wine, goodnight...

One more day till show time... Teach class tomorrow then run home shower and get to the gallery. I hope I don't make a total fool of myself.
