drinking snake

The family is gone again, I sit alone in the house (after all the chores are done) too bored to draw or sculpt. Instead I painted pedestals for placing sculptures on out on the patio. I am supposed to meet with a friend on Friday to discuss illustrating a book for him. I need to get cracking on some examples or ideas to show him. Enough for now, tomorrow is an early wake-up and a long day of work...

Alice Cooper

Watching "Crumb" and listening to old Alice Cooper music. Spent the day working in the yard and fixing a leaky faucet. I took a little time to work on a couple sculptures and prepped some more tiles to draw on. My body is spent and so is my mind...back to the movie and no music...

Another long day at work then home to continue remodeling this place. I took a break for a little while to work in the back yard where my dog used to stay. He passed a way a little more than a week ago. I miss him, it's not the same around here without the big guy. I need to get busy again and finish what I've started...

Dead writers

Late at night reading and listening to old music. Visited a couple artists tonight...need to make a trade with them both. Are there any artist out there who are some what new to the whole scene and are having luck. I have been having some but I need to pull my head out and start going in the right direction. I sold another drawing but still feel weird talking to gallery owners...I feel my portfolio and resume are still too weak. Oh well, good luck to all the others out there.

Another quiet day. Painting a bathroom and installing a new toilet. Made me think of this drawing on a clay tile. Tonight I'll go down town to have a beer and sketch people in the park. Tomorrow will be dedicated to sculpting and drawing.
