The weather here is still hot. Will that effect the turn out for the next art walk/first friday? Last one was kinda dead. People were out enjoying the weather, out of town, on vacation or whatever...

Sketchbook Project

Tomorrow they have the opening for the Sketchbook Project: How to Save the World at Art House in Atlanta Georgia. I won't be able to make it, hopefully my sketchbook did. They have an online live link starting at 6:00pm eastern time.

hey where'd she go

The last page in moleskine number 6. Time to break out another. The wife and our daughter just headed out to Seattle for a week or so.

brain dead

The pens weren't my friends last night. Tried drawing, the first was an utter mess, the second not much better. Oh well, at least I was drawing. We only get better when we continue doing what we are trying to do "best". I need to start working in clay, I have some ideas but no drive.

another late night

The hour is late, 2:10 AM, I'll be up for another hour or two... Sleep well world, our designated leaders are protecting us...?

Why can't I sleep?

1:40 AM and I can't sleep. Drew this and my eyes can't focus anymore. Maybe I should try sleeping again. The alarm will go off at 5:30 AM. I have a feeling I'll hit snooze a couple times...

Friday fright night

Watching zombie movies again... then went to the library and sketched an old guy's hair on my head. I also made my beard a little longer.

Buff wings

Made buffalo wings tonight from scratch. Never made 'em that way before. Oh my goodness they were tasty. Kristine claimed they were the best she's ever eaten. I think she was either biased or being kind... but they were good.

She made me feel dumb

She had a lot to say... most of it I didn't understand. At 50+ years time had been good to her.

Life isn't so bad

Did this after talking to some people hiding out in the woods across from my house. Thought about making a sculpture of a homeless me panhandling and a sketchbook in hand...
