looking for the moose...

haven't seen the moose in awhile. took a hike yesterday, found old droppings and a few tracks. i didn't see any deer tracks or droppings. hope this winter wasn't too severe for them (deer)...

looking out the window as the trees start to fade into silhouettes of themselves... to bad there are too many cars flying past, one seems to be burning a lot of oil...

took a walk in the woods

took a walk in the woods today, the snow is melting and treasures are everywhere. the melting snow makes some cool art as well. i'll try to draw something new in the next couple days... be patient

muddy

working way too late at night... i can't sleep, again... these past couple have really sucked, my eyes are burning and i can't focus. when you suffer from insomnia glasses don't seem to help. after i post this i'll try to get some sleep...

thinking about a new place...

walking about town yesterday, i thought about having a place in the city. an upper loft with a view would be great... then again, i would miss being close to nature. just a thought...

waiting for spring...

the temps are still too cold, the snow is still to deep for a nice enjoyable walk in the woods. i know, i'm whining. i am home and today i will go out and enjoy the crisp air!

home from maine...

first time actually drawing on a plane. the woman was sleeping in the row in front of me. she had striking features and a mess of hair. kinda felt weird drawing her, but everyone around me was asleep so i stole her image...

after being gone for almost two weeks, it is good to be home. i only drew a couple images while i was there. long days and working every day makes joe a dull boy...
