simple...
after filling in the past page in black ink, i decided to go a bit more simple...
i'm a little worn out, been cleaning the carpets, all the throw rugs, and the rest of the house. all this in preparation for my wife's return. the only comment... what did you do while i was gone, this place looks like a mess. guess i man's standard of cleaning doesn't meet up to the expectations... oh well, at least i had a decent meal for dinner.

take a load off...
i've seen several folks that carry quite a bit of stuff with them. it has to become a burden, but they probably need every bit of it and more. i have also found stash/cache areas where the homeless "hide" their sleeping bags and extra clothes. i may draw one of these areas... hope you folks back east are doing okay with all the snow.

saw something tonight...
driving home tonight, i saw something that warmed my heart (a little). passing by the trash can, that i've seen some of the homeless go through, i saw that someone had left a 2 liter bottle of grape juice and some food (all unopened). the sight made me smile, then i wondered why i hadn't thought of that. little acts of kindness can help out. well here is another practice piece for the next long foldout sketchbook. hope everyone sleeps well.
