been neglecting the art side of my life lately, took me forever to get the motivation to draw...

been awhile...

haven't been drawing or working in clay all month... hope i didn't lose too many of you folks that visit. things have been a little hectic, but i think i'm back on track. i statred putting together ideas for the sketchbook i'm doing for art house. nightmares... so many directions i could take it. if you tell me your worst nightmare, i'll work it into a drawing for the book. peace out!

Thanks to everyone who made it out last night! A big thanks to Pat Sullivan, for buying one of the Japanese albums, and Dara Harvey, for buying one of the framed sketchbooks! There was a nice steady stream of viewers, which made the night go by quick. I enjoyed visiting with everyone and it was nice to make a lot of new contacts. Wish I would have taken more pictures, especially during the crowded times... Now I'm going to start making more ceramic stuff. I will continue drawing, but probably not as frequently (I need a rest).

another project!

received my sketchbook for the latest and greatest sketchbook project from the boys at art house/the brooklyn art library. the theme i picked is nightmare... we'll see what comes of it.
