starting on another japanese album moleskine. need to crank out as much as i can before i leave for maine next thursday.

did this image again, this time in a thin paper moleskine cahier (sp?). think i like the original better... hey tomorrow is friday!

i enjoy doing these close-ups of faces... while drawing the hair, i remembered that i need to cut my hair tonight (actually shave my head). better get going if i plan on getting a good nights rest.

suk had a party today, guest are still here. i snuck out for a little while to draw this... another rehash of an older drawing, again in those thin paper moleskine journals. hope everyone has a great remainder of the weekend!

slightly redid this one in another moleskine. had a busy day today and tonight, so i got a little rushed on this... oh well, time for a beer.

after sending the mail art card to art house coop/ brooklyn art library, i decided to do another drawing of a bug in a moleskine. if you haven't figured it out, i love these things...

revisited

didn't like how this turned out last time i drew it... so i tried it again, this time using prismacolor markers. using these pocket sized moleskine plain journals (thin paper). put the finishing touches after i got home from working the late shift, tomorrow i will work a few hours on days, oh wait it is already tomorrow. i better get some sleep.

having a tough time getting motivated to draw... did find the time to draw this tonight, i would love to own one of these! i know a guy with one, and it is too cool!

gotta get this out in the mail tomorrow for the brooklyn art library. art house co-op formerly of atlanta has a mail art show going on. tomorrow is the postmarked deadline date. me being a procrastinator, i mail it the last day... now i think i'll relax with my wife and watch a movie.

tax day approaches...

get your taxes filed on time or the IRS will send out their henchmen to do their dirty work... ok, i was bored and this was all i could come up with.

need to get my hind end in gear. lots of drawings to do before show in june... i'll be travelling to maine next month for just under three weeks.

drank a half a bottle of Korean rice wine while drawing... now time to get some shut eye.

Dug... our puppy

a drawing of our puppy Dug. yes the same spelling as the dog in the movie Up. love that movie. our dog is female, hope the name doesn't confuse her... while i'm walking her, i say come here Dug, good girl, then get funny looks from others. Dug doesn't mind... BALL! on another note, i fixed the washing machine, and got a sh#% ton of yard work done today. SQUIRREL!

another day another drawing... took forever to fill all the black. after a night shift i go back to work tomorrow on day shift. tons of paperwork to do... ugh.

too much... everything. i need to simplify and go back to making things more immediate. tomorrow is another night shift, then back to days. i think my eyes are shot, everything is getting out of focus. my goodness my ramblings are random...

organizing

saw this lady along a park median. i see her go through the trash cans, then organizes her treasures neatly in plastic bags before she puts them away in her bag. the bag on the other bench is a knit bag that is almost as big as her.

some nights i should just put down the pens...

went out and had a couple beers with friends and enjoyed some art. now the weekend is here!

the fool day...

no pranks or anyone fooling with me today... i worked night shift for the past few days, tomorrow back to days. hope i don't fall asleep at work, but then again the weekend is nearly here. tomorrow night i'll walk about the galleries and talk to a few friends.
