feeding the robin

been doing a lot of gardening and other yard work lately. while i was transplanting the chives, a robin hung out with me and gathered the worms i was "discarding". i had planned on putting them in my raised gardens, but the robin was having no part of that. on other news, the reason i'm not drawing as much... i've been sick with a head cold, stuffed sinus, cough, etc. it hasn't stopped me from yard work and the second bathroom remodel though. back to work tomorrow, hope you all had a memorable memorial day.

chicken chicken bug?

spending way too much time in the garden... wish i still had chickens. first time i put a tomato horn worm in with them (chickens), they didn't know what to do with it. when one pecked at it there was green goo everywhere. oh well guess i'll have to figure some other way to get rid of these caterpillars when they start attacking my tomatoes.

just got back from the big apple... this is all i had time to draw.

a new larger book

finally broke out the larger moleskine... i've been busy the past few days making raised gardens for my wife. need to get them done before i leave for the big apple.

found a small patch of morel mushrooms today. tomorrow they meet the skillet! this is the final page in my latest moleskine, now i graduate to the larger size books!

back from vegas

spent a few days in vegas (working), now i'm home. finished a good book, Another Roadside Attraction by Tom Robbins. i'll start reading Catch 22 by Joseph Heller tomorrow. My drawing time has been limited lately. I received the sketchbook from art house while i was away. i'll test the pages in the slightly smaller book soon and let you know what i think...
