folks i'm tired, sorry this didn't come out like i intended. after i scanned it i also noticed i hadn't finished some other details i had planned on doing. oh well such is life. i'll go back and do some more work on this...
went with a little less ink then normal (for me). busy night around here so i had less time to draw tonight. i need to get back to labors. i'll draw more when the time makes itself available.
monthly theme on 'skineart is "smile". figured i'd submit this and then get on to other drawings. it is beautiful and sunny today, i'm going for a walk.
the drawing process machine that i am is slowing down... need to get motivated, i have a lot to do. work has been funky lately, just found out i'll be travelling real soon for far too much time. couple weeks here couple weeks there with a few four day trips between. i shouldn't complain i have a job...
i've seen several folks that carry quite a bit of stuff with them. it has to become a burden, but they probably need every bit of it and more. i have also found stash/cache areas where the homeless "hide" their sleeping bags and extra clothes. i may draw one of these areas... hope you folks back east are doing okay with all the snow.
still working on thoughts for... tomorrow i will walk about to take some photos, then in the evening enjoy the visual arts tour. hope to see several people and have some good conversations.
driving home tonight, i saw something that warmed my heart (a little). passing by the trash can, that i've seen some of the homeless go through, i saw that someone had left a 2 liter bottle of grape juice and some food (all unopened). the sight made me smile, then i wondered why i hadn't thought of that. little acts of kindness can help out. well here is another practice piece for the next long foldout sketchbook. hope everyone sleeps well.
