tried to save a scribble

Started out black ink only, hated where it was going... too tired and hadn't eaten anything... whine... Had the shakes and couldn't concentrate... made some food, then I ate. Afterwards I broke out the brush tip markers and started working them in... blah, blah, blog.

need more black pens

Went with another simple stencil effect... Shouldn't have taken too long, but filling in with small nib pens burns up the minutes into hours. Goodnight...

Time to cook dinner

Thought I'd make buffalo wings tonight... couldn't find any on the animal, decided to make chili instead...

forced myself to draw

Forced myself to draw tonight. I was feeling like a rut was coming on. Not real happy with this but ink on paper was the goal. My daughter comes home soon from Seattle, I've missed her. The rest of the family will be back on the 12th. I better get crackin' makin' sculptures and cups...

Along came a spider

Alice Cooper's newest studio album comes out tomorrow. It is a concept album called "Along Came a Spider". Why do I post this? I've been listening to him and his bands since I was a little punk hiding in the hills of northern Pennsylvania. I'm sure his music and persona has influenced me and my art throughout the years. I think it's cool that at 60 he's still rockin'. Even though his image is a little cleaner he still is a bit twisted. Rock on Alice...

Not a new drawing... What?

Walking through the woods, I happened on this doe I've seen for the past couple of years. She had a little one with her that managed to stay out of camera shot.

I haven't drawn in a couple days... I did get a call about the Lincoln show I'm in. Guess they need a couple more pieces. I agreed to do more. I'll post a drawing or clay stuff as it materializes. If I see the moose and get the camera on it/them I'll post those too.

Nothing new, something old

More old stuff from when I went to New Zealand back in 2004. I sent the "How to Save the World" sketchbook off to Atlanta yesterday... hope it makes it there. I haven't drawn in a couple of days. Work days have been long and motivation is down. Hopefully I won't slip into a funk again.

Done with work, don't know if I'll get a chance to draw tonight, so I'll post one out of an old sketchbook. My neighbor told me the moose are back in the 'hood, I haven't seen them in a few months. Maybe I'll go for a walk when things cool down... if I take any pictures I'll post 'em.
