I need to sleep

Things that go bump in the night... Always thought scorpions looked cool, but they're not fun to pet...

Yikes. This dude looks ready to nail someone. Awesome details Joseph. Still keeping with red and black mostly I see. All good. Love the science stuff.

Ugh. Just seeing this makes it feel like they are on me. They always seem to itch first, then sting. Cool art, great design.

Thanks, I haven't bought any new colors yet. I'm still trying to decide which ones to use. After drawing people last night it was tough not drawing one when I came home. Also I've been toying with drawing all the figures in this presidential race...

that's a great idea - I'd love to see what you do with the canidates. Please promise me you'll do something horrid to Palin tho (lol) She pushes every one of my buttons.

Love the scorpion DRAWING, hate the real things. wouldn't mind having a chance to photog one under the macro lens tho

The drawing of scorpion looks delicious for me. Like a lobster or crayfish.
Nice drawing!

Thanks juan and mayumi. Mayumi, I was thinking about drawing a crayfish/crawdad/mudbug tonight. I went to help a friend raku fire one of his ceramic sculptures tonight and just got home. It's almost 2:00 AM so I doubt I'll draw that tonight.

Sweet piece! The text layout and subject play fiercely together! Sleep deprivation seems to work for you!

Your moleskine puts my moleskine to shame. All of my drawings are sort of... half started... I can't seem to commit to something and "bring it home". I love the bugs!
