scavengers

I haven't been drawing lately. I've been working in clay, getting ready for a show in Jan. Unfortunately I'll be gone on the road for most the time I have left (until the Show). I will be drawing while on the road, and will post results when I'm home.

I took this picture earlier this evening while hiking in the hills behind my house.

Thanks to everyone that stops by. I appreciate the comments and try to reply or visit as much as I can... keep on making art!

It was so cool, this coyote came pretty close to me. As i watched it was almost playing with the magpie. the magpie would leap up in the air and settle back down, and the coyote would bounce up and down. it was like some sort of odd ritualistic dance. unfortunately i didn't use the video option on my camera...

Very cool photo, Joseph. I need to go hiking this week. Of course we don't have any coyotes in Germany. Maybe I'll see a hedgehog.
