I wished for world peace this year... doesn't look like a good start.
On a brighter note , the moose visited me today (several times).
Well I'm off to Alabama for two weeks. I'm taking a couple sketchbooks with me. I'll do my best to draw in my free time. I'll stop in to say hi while I'm gone...Peace

Your post gave me a happy memory of infant school around aged 7 ... our teacher Mrs Ripley used to have us singing a song about Alabama that I of course never understood at the time "I come from Alabama with my banjo on my knee". Quite bizarre for a little school in a suburb of York, North Yorkshire!!! I'd forgotten all about it!

A moose with snowy knees! too cool! we only get deer in the backyard... and I live in the city!
