IF instinct

leaving tomorrow at 5:10 in the morning to fly from the west coast to the northern east coast (maine). my instinct tell me i won't get any sleep tonight...

i'll do my best to draw a few more pages while i'm there. like usual, i'll check in and say hi.

lounging around reading a free local paper, when i decided to draw this.

i had planned on going for a hike today... the rain changed my mind. guess i'm getting soft in my old age.

bored sitting around prior to going to work... drew a revolver, not happy with the grip... oh well. tomorrow i'll draw something else. have a great weekend, and beware of the aggressive shoppers.

it is almost the weekend... i have to work part of it... oh well, i get overtime pay...

everyone pick up a pen, pencil, brush, spray can, etc and make your mark! now is the time to make some art! don't be put down by those around you, don't procrastinate, don't find excuses... create! the world needs more art!

playing with the prismacolors today... still trying to come up with a theme for the next japanese album style moleskine...

i haven't started on a new project yet... but my mind is jumping around with several ideas. this was a quick doodle in the corner of my notebook at work... guess i was bored. with any luck i'll start something tonight... i promise i won't over post the next one. when i look at this blog i want to go spastic with the delete key. i'll be back later

slide of the book

sent that sucker off...

Sent the sketchbook project: "Everyone We Know" off to Art House today. Also picked up the Spokesman Review (local paper) and there was a picture of one of my pieces on the cover of one of the sections of the paper. There was a write-up about the show and a little bit about each of the six artists. I never got back with the journalist to give my two cents... my bad, but she did a good job at interpreting one of the other sculptures I did for the show... Hope you all have a safe Friday the 13th! I've got a physical tomorrow, hope the Doc's name isn't Jason...

IF: Time

Time to clean-up our act. Time to heal. Time to learn from our mistakes. Time to forget... Had fun playing with an old image that time almost erased from my memory.

Here's the whole book together in snippets. Later I'll do it with a camera panning across the whole thing. The breaks don't work for me with the page transitions... oh well, here it is... Last night I had good reviews at the show in the gallery at city hall. I sold one piece at the other space I put a three pieces in. I may have stayed out a little late, and also might have drank a little too much.

filled in the star with an image of a friend that entered into eternity a few years ago... Hope to see him again some day

moleskine kinda done

the last pages are done, but technically they would be the first in the book. now to go through and put finishing touches to various pages. Thanks to all that followed the process. Soon I'll post the thing in it's entirety.

Closing in on being done with the japanese album style moleskine. I'm going to go back through and clean it up as well as put some text in it. Once it is done I'll post the whole thing somehow...
