Sent the sketchbook project: "Everyone We Know" off to Art House today. Also picked up the Spokesman Review (local paper) and there was a picture of one of my pieces on the cover of one of the sections of the paper. There was a write-up about the show and a little bit about each of the six artists. I never got back with the journalist to give my two cents... my bad, but she did a good job at interpreting one of the other sculptures I did for the show... Hope you all have a safe Friday the 13th! I've got a physical tomorrow, hope the Doc's name isn't Jason...

My husband and I have been checking out your work and we absolutely love it! Your sketchbook is AMAZING!!! SOSOSOS good - I wasn't too thrilled with the quality of the paper in the moleskine - it was difficult to deal with the ink spilling through to the other side - wish I would have thought to do what you did! Your illustrations are so vivid and hot! My Hub and I are fans...We still haven't mailed it - we'll do it tomorrow in the am since it says post marked by the 15th I hope we'll be ok.
Yours looks pretty cool to me, from the pages I found on your blog. There shouldn't be a problem I think they are supposed to be postmarked by the 15th which is Sunday and Monday is a holiday... so if it is to the post office on Saturday you're fine. I bet as long as things get there before the set-up they'll be happy. Last time there were only 76 of the 500 that ended up getting there...
