Joseph, Your artwork is amazing. Your sense of design, implied line, color, negative space (I could go on and on)...is so well done. I am sorry you are having trouble sleeping. Could it be your "artist burden" - sleepless images demanding that they be documented and made real?
Thanks Darcie, i'm working on the sleep thing. exhaustion takes over and the body does rest. i've been working on some new pieces for next months "art in the garden". need to finish a couple more today. again thanks for your extremely kind comment!
The picture is kindof scary--but it reflects a certain desperation. It's a very striking image. I like it a lot (though I don't think I'd want it looking down at me).

Rob, the failed experiment was me messin' with watercolors in a moleskine. i'll try using them in a moleskine designed for watercolor.
