I've been getting into doing these close-up drawings. I need to get another Japanese album style sketchbook going. My thought for a theme was a series of close-ups. Anyone have another idea, I'm always open to suggestions.
oh wow this is so beautiful! and so much like a photo... i love the bright light.
it is SO fun that you want to do the ceramic beads! post pictures if you do them. it's really trendy to make jewelry right now, and it's hard to find really ace beads so you should be able to sell them.
Actually I do have a suggestion...an accordian style book that contains about 50-100 panels (I know it would make a thick book so you might have to do a bunch of books) full of closeups like this...(they are truly amazing)...then you could unfold and wrap the book(s) mounted in a small room (or you could do multiple small rooms) about eye level...so when you stood in the middle of the room it would be like people looking in on you...Now that would be an interesting art exhibit...

Wow, stunning. Nope, it sounds like a good idea to me.

This is a nice drawing too. A series of close-ups is wonderful idea on Japanese album.
