took a break from how i have been drawing to go back and draw an old self-portrait style caricature. i really don't look this way, but it's how i see myself. anyhow at 3:00 in the morning it made sense to me while i was drawing...

Whoa, you've been doing some great artwork, Joe. Your caricature here- ok, I definitely see how you got that. But after meeting you in person, this doesn't show you as I remember you, with your generous smile and kindhearted nature. (Of course, who am I to talk- my friends say my self-portraits make me look like an assassin.) Anyway, maybe I'll do a caricature of you myself using a photo I took. Hee, hee.
one of these days i will draw a smile on my face and make me look a little less... yoda?
