messing around with different techniques, hope Kristine isn't too upset with this zombie like drawing of her. in less than 24 hours it will be a new year... yippee!

the end of the year is nearly here...

today it snowed... my wife and daughter took off for seattle, and i'm here with the puppy... while i was drawing this the pup was chewing on my pens, didn't let him get a hold of the moleskine, maybe i should have... Happy New Years to all where ever you are! if you get a chance stop over to Tommy Kane's site, he has a cool video of him drawing in Korea. i'm trying to go back there again.

IF: Pioneer

illustration friday theme for the week was pioneer. i redid the homeless guy i see all over town. he reminds me of a pioneer in the way he moves about town finding new places to forage or call home. i talk to him occasionally and give him money or food. i wish him well and hope he does well in the new year.

sorry i haven't been posting...

been out of sorts lately... i don't know what that means. cleaned up and re-posted this from the abandoned book. 5 more months till i do the sketchbook show here in town. i want to complete at least 4 more books and 10 individual drawings. the individuals will be in moleskines, the center page then the whole book framed. we'll see how that looks...

unfinished sweet

finally after what seems a life time, i drew something... i almost feel out of practice. i've been in a bit of a funk lately. hopefully the christmas season brings me out of it. went to see avatar yesterday with my wife and daughter. we all enjoyed it.

400th and inside back cover...

ok, now it's done. the inside back cover. decided to redo the one i drew last night. this is my 400th post, i will have to come up with some sort of deal when i hit 500... on another note, it snowed a little bit overnight.

another long day... tonight i have to get some sleep. lately i haven't felt like drawing, so i force myself, then disappointed with the results... oh well, i'm taking two days off from work.

tired again

not much sleep for the past few days... suk is on the other side of the state. don't know when she'll be back.
