Haven't done an Illustration Friday entry in quite some time... here's one

IF: focused

illustration Friday's theme is "focused". here is my entry. Life is different when you are focused on where your next meal will come from and where you will sleep tonight... while the rest of us are focused on...

IF: Confined

with all the developments around here, the wild animals won't be confined to the woods... then again seeing moose, deer, and coyotes in my yard is pretty cool. i'm afraid i won't be seeing them much longer. the woods are shrinking...

IF: Pioneer

illustration friday theme for the week was pioneer. i redid the homeless guy i see all over town. he reminds me of a pioneer in the way he moves about town finding new places to forage or call home. i talk to him occasionally and give him money or food. i wish him well and hope he does well in the new year.

IF: caution

Theme for Illustration Friday is caution. Goes with the abandoned theme in my moleskine. An abandoned open well, use cation. Better yet cover or fill it. Found one on my property and took care of it, found another where I work. It was in an area we don't use, but it made me wonder how it got left open all those years ago.

IF: wrapped

nothing like seeing plastic bags or other trash wrapped up in the trees.

Illustration Friday: idle

Taking a break from the trash theme. Opened another sketchbook to draw other "stuff". The theme this week for IF is "idle", figured I'd draw something in my "idle" time that i like to do when i need a break... others may see wondering about the woods as an "idle" pastime, for me it is a time to reflect and enjoy the beauty around us...

IF: Clandestine

The hot wings may have been a little spicy to the taste... but they had a nasty little secret that snuck up on you and made you feel the burn again...
