IF: Clandestine

The hot wings may have been a little spicy to the taste... but they had a nasty little secret that snuck up on you and made you feel the burn again...

Looks like Johnny Cash wasn't the only one who sung the Ring Of Fire. Her facial expression gives the impression she's burst a gasket on her personal bunsen burner.

Her pain comes through in this piece.

Funny take on what the Infernal Regions really are - great use of the space.

Hey J, thanks for stopping by, really glad that you liked my stuff. I have to say that I find your moleskine work to be quite fascinating. Working in the notably confined space of a small notebook is a path from which I deviated a long time ago. It takes a clear vision, solid skill and, in my opinion, a good deal of boldness to tolerate, so to speak, the limitations of the medium. Another thing that I salute you for is the relentless usage of black and red, both of which happen to be personal favorites. Your "Hot Buffalo Wings" provides an excellent example of how powerful the combination of the two can be. Keep it up. And have a great '09.
