Illustration Friday: idle

Taking a break from the trash theme. Opened another sketchbook to draw other "stuff". The theme this week for IF is "idle", figured I'd draw something in my "idle" time that i like to do when i need a break... others may see wondering about the woods as an "idle" pastime, for me it is a time to reflect and enjoy the beauty around us...

Awesome sketch. This is a pastime I do as often as I can, and it's worth more than any TV show. And, hey, I now can say I've seen where you walk, and I confirm it's a beautiful trail to walk on and reflect. Are you heading back into a nature theme here?

Lovely sketch... Idle was an interesting theme. I'm eager to see more takes on it. Idle time can be very rich. Im particularly fond of your woods. It reminds me of my own wanderings.

I think your characterisic halo effect works very well with these advancing trees.

Your sketch books are awesome. I like the style you are moving towards; the yellow and red on Moleskine, and the silhouette combined with detailed line drawings.

Thanks for stopping and commenting on my work.

I don't think we get enough idle time in this society. I'm feeling like I need a walk in those woods right now. I like your style.
