model citizen
no really, i'm a model citizen. served my civic duty as a juror, did 24.5 years honorable service in the military, help the elderly and kids, concerned about the environment...
this morning i got a speeding ticket, guess i have a lead foot... oops. 6:35 am, i should have been paying attention, at least i was nice to the officer... still got the ticket, guess i'll have to cut back on art supplies to pay the fine.

more frizzy...
done with another frizzy head... today suk and i walked a new (paved) bike trail near our house. we took the pup, maybe 5 miles was a wee bit too much for her. she's sleeping well now:)

the scanner is becoming a problem...
i've always liked curly hair, for some reason i decided i would draw a few women with lots of twisty, curly, frizzy hair. this is the first, there should be a couple more to come. that is, if i don't change my mind and draw something else. i think the new pup's hair inspired this drawing.

doesn't take much and she loses her head... we just purchased more land, we didn't totally agree on it. guess i need to start clearing trees to make a road access through this new property to get to our other 5 acres. maybe i'll be able to build my studio now...?

IF: Confined
with all the developments around here, the wild animals won't be confined to the woods... then again seeing moose, deer, and coyotes in my yard is pretty cool. i'm afraid i won't be seeing them much longer. the woods are shrinking...

first of these in 2010
another year and i feel like i am aging in dog years... our new puppy loves to steal my pens and is trying real hard to get the sketchbook from me. maybe he wants to show me how to draw... hope everyone is having a great 2010. i made no resolutions, so i guess i can;t break 'em. well i need to get back to chores. tomorrow is a work day so i need to get a week worth of clothes pressed. see ya
