i want a "new" car...

been looking for another one of these. i drove one for years, and really miss all the fun i had with it. saw one a couple weeks ago that was incredible. it had all the bells and whistles (probably a very expensive project). mine looked a bit worn but would get anywhere...

That's not a new car; that's a great car. I miss mine, too.

That’s cool! I like Volkswagen too; I love its simplicity, quirkiness, and old style. My brother has a used ‘99 New Beetle GL 5, and so far, he doesn’t have any serious problem with it yet, even if my mom and I borrow it frequently. As long as you keep up on maintenance, this car could be really awesome.

A Volkswagen Beetle is just radical and an eye-catching car. Yes, it may be a classic, but that doesn’t mean you can’t upgrade it. I have a childhood friend who loves to buy classic Volkswagen models and restore them. So when I bought one, he helped me restore it. We upgraded its parts and placed in some modern technology in the interiors. This only proves that classic cars could still be restored and be in par with modern cars.
