took a little break after mowing the lawn to finish this... got asked if that's all i plan on doing (as in wasting time)... guess i better find something more productive to do.
Of course, mine is just one person's opinion, but I do not think these drawings are a "waste of time." I think they are fantastic, troublesome, imaginative and scary. Fitting your theme to a T. I check each one as you post them - love them.
i have not been coming in to blogs lately and have been missing sooooo much of your incredible stuff...and i was trolling around illustration friday and lo and behold, who's art do i immediately see when i watch the CNN video on "the sketchbook project" but you you and you - helloooo famous artist person!!! Frankly, i couldn't imagine anyone's else's work being used as an example - how exciting!!
Great stuff here. I just signed up for the Sketchbook Project and I was curious if you are using the original paper or if you rebound yours? I'm hearing that the paper is extremely thin and bleeds through, so I was just wondering how you've been handling that. Thanks in advance!
There are a couple of these that you really knocked out of the park with a creepy unsettling feel (although I like them all)...but this is my favorite...it has more of an internal pain type of feel to it...and I've got that all summer..."Is that all you do all day...every time I talk to you and ask what you've been doing you say drawing..what's with that?" lol...
