the moose are back

Two moose in front of my house this morning. What a site to behold! I saw their tracks while I was out shoveling the driveway. When I went back inside to warm up, they came out of the woods across the street...

Wow~~~!
Did you see them in front of your house? I could not image wild ammonals live near by the house. Because I was born and grown up in the city, Japan.
And it's a lot of snow. How many inch?
Thank you for showing me these pictures.

They were in the yard, then crossed the road. I was about 80 to 100 feet from them. They are huge! We have between 2 and 3 feet of snow right now. The forecast is calling for more in the next few days. Personally I'm sick of snow.

they were in my neighbor's yard today. hope their shrubs make it through the winter (and my fruit trees). I do love seeing these awesome creatures.

There are a lot of deer here where I live. They freak my dog out on our walks ... can't imagine what he'd think of a moose. Very cool.
