the bad...

Well, I decided to fill in a few more pages last night. I guess 6 more and the thing will be done (except for more detail and some writing...). Oh, yeah, I went down and hung three pieces for a show next week... Met and talked to some nice and interesting folks! I also picked up my glasses... what a difference it made while driving...

IF flawed

Like most people, when she looked in the mirror, she thought that she was flawed. I too, felt that this drawing is flawed in many ways. The face wasn't round enough and the features are all wrong...

not too much farther to go and this moleskine will be finished... after i put the final touches to it i'll make another video... is it cold in here? i'm freezing...

Only a few more pages and this japanese album style moleskine will be done with stage one. Then I go back through and tie it all together with more drawings...

Back to work tomorrow, this weekend seemed to blow right by. Guess I better get back to drawing, and ironing my clothes for the week.

IF Climbing

I loved climbing into my old baja bug and climbing the gravel pit walls behind my old house!

a couple more pages... today i sent off one sketchbook (hope i see it again) and went to where my sculptures are set-up. tonight i'll try to draw some more pages in this book... oh and i found out i need glasses.

work in progress

working on a japanese album style moleskine. the theme is supposed to be "people we know". this will have images and silhouettes that will stretch out over 7 feet. i've roughed in about half of it so far. i'll post more as it progresses.

sometimes i feel so alone...

the temps are cold, i sit here all alone waiting for spring. i've been sick since returning from a business trip, but at least i'm drawing (between bouts of nausea or unconsciousness).

i have to finish this moleskine and send it to an exhibit in arizona. i also need to finish the japanese album style moleskine to send to atlanta, in the next three weeks. my sculptures for the Lincoln show are already up, and i have three more pieces for another show in two weeks. hope (not a method of accomplishment) all goes well.

IF: Pale (time for another zombie)

Watching "Shaun of the Dead" and seeing a gaunt woman at the airport inspired this hideous little sketch. Maybe the fact that I'm sick as a dog and pretty pale myself had something to do with it.

Back from Alabama...

Spent two weeks in Enterprise, Alabama. They have a monument for a boll weevil in the center of town... I did get a little work done in the sketchbooks, but only a little...

Off to warmer weather

I wished for world peace this year... doesn't look like a good start.

On a brighter note , the moose visited me today (several times).

Well I'm off to Alabama for two weeks. I'm taking a couple sketchbooks with me. I'll do my best to draw in my free time. I'll stop in to say hi while I'm gone...Peace
