Dear Joseph,I would like to contact you for a demand : i would like to use one of your drawings in our French organization magazine (it is about insects). My email : bruno.didier(at)insectes.orgMore information by private mail...Bruno
Wow, this is intense, Joseph! I was convinced it was a photograph at first, like you put your face on the copy machine- amazing sketch!
Thanks!Bruno I emailed you a reply.Rob, you are too kind! I appeciate the comment, filling in the black and red with small nibs was a pain. The black was gone over with a brush tip pen afterwards to fill the voids. I was pretty tired at the time. The firing is done, I get to unload after work this afternoon.
You look on fire! Sure you didn't put yourself in that kiln!?! ;-)It's such a strong image. Consuming. How you've done the painstaking detail with the fine nib gives it a real texture - looks 3D.Think this is a fave!
Very intense and haunting image, hard to believe its a sketchbook drawing, with all those refined details and realistic look.
this is REALLY great!
That's pretty strong...nice intensity...
you look like a right faust in this self portrait!! i love it!!!!
Thank you all, i should be drawing more but... i unloaded the cone 5 firing today and everything came out in a way that pleased me. if i can get the light right i may shoot an image and post tonight...
