with all the developments around here, the wild animals won't be confined to the woods... then again seeing moose, deer, and coyotes in my yard is pretty cool. i'm afraid i won't be seeing them much longer. the woods are shrinking...

Novel take on the theme. Beautiful drawing. Just enough detail but not too much.
Yeah, one of the reasons Mom had to move off the mountain last year was the safety factor, as more animals were showing up closer to the house. After being tracked by a mountain lion a couple of times, and some close calls with moose, she decided enough was enough. A shame. Here, the only animals left in the forest are small deer, some fox, squirrels, and occasionally some boar herds. Great sketch, Joseph.
I love the use of contrast in this piece. It's really seductive.
